Channel Manager, France & BeNeLux

Sangoma is looking for a talented, self-motivated Channel Manager to join our fast paced, ever growing organization. The successful candidate will join our Sales team and will have the opportunity to work with the latest Sangoma UC solutions, IP-phones, gateways, Session Border Controller (SBC) and other IP communication technologies. Covering primarily France, Belgium and Netherlands this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, successful team.


Activities, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Exceed quarterly sales targets
  • Regular travel to engage with current and potential customers
  • Proactive sales prospecting – seeking new opportunities
  • Reactive sales – follow-up on inquiries, pricing/quotations, and generally moving all enquiries to sales closure
  • Manage the pipeline of current and new customer relationships
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions
  • Communicate current marketing strategies to customers and prospects
  • Develop and implement sales promotions
  • Stay abreast of competitors and competitive information
  • Maintain a sales forecast for each quarter within the CRM


Education, Experience and Required Skills

  • University or college degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • At least 5 years of direct work experience in a sales capacity in a related industry (Experience with FreePBX and other Sangoma Products and Solutions Preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals and achieve sales quotas
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management
  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
  • Strong problem identification and objections resolution skills
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Experience with customer relationship management software
